Read up on the different game mechanics, here.Since this is against Blizzard ToS, you'll need to make your own decisions about it. Many groups will not take you in a lead role if you don't run TurboHUD.If you're in a lead role in a group (zBarb on push, zNec/zDH on speed, dep on the meta) you'll need to know where to set up and where to move on all maps. For efficiency-sake, you can't afford to run GRs with only 4 upgrade chances. Make sure you collect enough gold to "empower" GRs when you're building up gems. To get all those gem levels, and keys to be able to fish maps for your GRs, you're going to need an efficient NR key farming build. This is called "fishing" and when you're trying to get your GR150, you may only fully run 1 out of 50 rifts you open. When you go to push solo, you need to know which maps and mob-types to abandon altogether. That requires LOTS of bounty mats and forgotten souls. To optimize your gear, you're gonna need to reforge pieces (a LOT) to get optimal rolls. When you push your solo 150, you'll want your worn gems at 150 already, and your augments in the 140-150 range.Again, stick with the support roles, but pay attention to the behavior of the dps, 'cause that'll be you when you go for your solo push. you'll also need to play in the push meta, to get your worn- and augment gems up higher.Make all, so you have more of a chance to play. Since you're probably behind the paragon curve, stick with the support roles - zBarb, zDH, zNec, zMonk. to get these, you'll need to grind a speed meta for XP and initial gem leveling.

you'll need high-level augments on optimized gear. You'll need to understand and leverage the mechanics of your build. You have a lot of choices, including Wastes ww/rend.you'll need a class and build that's capable of both the damage and survivability at that level. Now that you want to hit 150, it will require a LOT more investment on your part. Anyone can bang out a GR100-110 with most sets, no augments, and under 1000 paragon these days. You've got a loooong road of grinding and learning ahead of you. Here's some advice I posted a few months ago, in answer to a similar question, but updated for S24:
